Aisha Gatlin is a licensed cosmetologist, educator, and the visionary founder behind Beautiful Luxe School of Cosmetology. As the Director of Education, Aisha leads with passion, purpose, and a deep commitment to transforming how beauty is taught and experienced.

Aisha built her salon into a premier destination for luxury textured hair care before making history in 2019 by launching the first Black-owned cosmetology school in Ann Arbor. Today, she uses her platform to not only teach technical excellence but also cultivate confidence, creativity, and business-minded thinking in every student who walks through the door.

Her approach to education is rooted in inclusivity, mentorship, and real-world readiness. From developing a curriculum that centers textured hair to mentoring aspiring professionals on building sustainable beauty careers, Aisha ensures that every student at BLSC is equipped to thrive in a diverse and evolving industry.
